Newton's Laws, also known as Newton's laws of motion are based on three principles which explain most of the problems posed by the dynamics, particularly those relating to the movement of bodies. Revolutionized basic concepts of physics and motion of bodies in the universe. Thus, Newton's laws help explain both the motion of the stars, like the movements of artificial projectiles created by humans, and all the mechanics of the machines.


Newton's First Law of inertia Law

The first law of motion challenges the Aristotelian idea that a body can only stay in motion if a force is applied. Newton states that:

Every body perseveres in its state of rest or rectilinear uniform motion unless it is compelled to change its state by forces impressed upon it.
Newton's Second Law or Law of force

The second law of motion Newton says


The change of motion is proportional to the driving force printed and occurs according to the straight line along which this force is printed.

Newton's Third Law of action and reaction Law


With every action occurs whenever an equal and opposite reaction: that is, the mutual actions of two bodies are always equal and oppositely directed.

Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton (4 January 1643 – 31 March 1727) physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian, who has been "considered by many to be the greatest and most influential scientist who ever lived." His monograph was an English Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, published in 1687, lays the foundations for most of classical mechanics. In this work, Newton described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion, which dominated the scientific view of the physical universe for the next three centuries. Newton showed that the motions of objects on Earth and of celestial bodies are governed by the same set of natural laws, by demonstrating the consistency between Kepler's laws of planetary motion and his theory of gravitation, thus removing the last doubts about heliocentrism and advancing the Scientific Revolution.
